Koala and baby

Yesterday I had one of the most amazing experiences in Australia so far. Just as we had had dinner we saw a monkey-looking thing moving around in the garden. We went outside and as we looked up in a tree we got the most amazing surprise: A koala and her little baby joey looked down at us with big, round eyes. It was such a breathtaking moment, and I feel so lucky to have seen such beautiful and unique animals up close - in our own garden!
