A true viking rye bread is made without any flour. The recipe is easy: eggs, coconut oil and a lot of nuts! Bon Appetit! |
Traveling and being in Nature - especially the ocean - has always been big part of my life and has made me the person I am. I find so much inspiration and magic in the sea, and I see happiness in the small things in Life, which is why I started this little blog-project; hoping to share the magic I have found with others. Welcome to a life in flip-flops in a world of rainbows, sunsets and seashells. May you always have sand in your flip-flops and a shell in your pocket...

When having a cold..
I love ginger! Not only does the ginger root have a great taste and spices up food, it also turns out to be super efficient. You can for example use it as a home remedy for indigestion, nausea, and to ward off colds, flu, and a sore throat. Here is the easiest recipe for a nice cup of ginger tea. Go ahead and treat yourself with a healthy energy boost to spice up the day:
- Peel the ginger root and slice it into thin slices.
- Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan. Once it is boiling, add the ginger.
- Cover it and reduce to a simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- Strain the tea.
- Add honey and lemon to taste.
If you are in a hurry I can warmly recommend you to try Yogi's Ginger Tea with lemon.
